Resort Architecture Week: The Grand Heinz Erhardt Evening
The Great Heinz Erhardt Evening—A Tribute to the Nation’s Master of Humor
His signature line, “Noch’n Gedicht” (“One More Poem”), made him immortal in the eyes of all lovers of double- and
triple-entendre wordplay and puns. From the “four-liners” to “The Maggot,” “Classics,” and “Knight Fips”—it’s all here.
Heinz Erhardt is neither imitated, copied, nor parodied here. The unforgettable works—by Germany’s still-most-popular humorist—are interpreted in a style all his own, namely the Loyda style. (according to the press)
Some poems have been set to music by Hanno Loyda, so that these—alongside Erhardt’s best-known songs—are also performed vocally to the very highest standard. This is done partly a cappella, but partly accompanied by instruments as well. To truly do justice to the spirit of this tribute, a few key biographical details are subtly woven into the program.
Guests can look forward to about 100 minutes of pleasantly intelligent and musically diverse humor.
