Water Rescue Service Awareness Day: "Staying Safe Around Water"

At the Water Rescue Service’s event day at the Karlshagen Rescue Tower, people of all ages can look forward to exciting challenges, rescue drills, and practical tips for greater safety around the water.
Through a varied program, the Water Rescue Service conveys important knowledge about water rescue in a clear and practical way. At several hands-on stations, you can test your skills and gain valuable experience.
A special highlight of the event are two water rescue drills, during which Water Rescue Team members demonstrate their skills and provide insights into water rescue operations.

Program:
10:00 a.m.: Start & hands-on stations
11:00 a.m.: Hands-on session with the Water Rescue Service professionals | Training
11:30 a.m.: Live water rescue drill
2:00 p.m.: Active session with the Water Rescue Service professionals | Training
2:30 p.m.: Live water rescue drill
3:30 p.m.: Active session with the Water Rescue Service professionals | Training
4:30 p.m.: Closing ceremony
