Reading with Matti Sund, with music and culinary accompaniment
At the end of 2024, Matti Sund published the short story collection "MENSCH. WARNEMÜNDE!" was published. The book was well received. Hundreds of people attended readings by the author.
A new volume of short stories will therefore follow in 2025 under the title
"WARNEMÜNDE. MENSCH!"
Sund's stories have not yet been told.
We will celebrate the book premiere on 22.11.2025 at 17:00 with a reading by Sund accompanied by Olaf Hobrland with a three-course menu based on Ringelnatz at Hotel Ringelnatz.

People, so many people left their footprints in Warnemünde. Do we know everything about their footprints? Do we only speculate about some things, or do we remember them because they fit into our thinking, because they adorn Warnemünde? Is everything we know about those who traveled here "correct"?
The Kuhmann, Stephan Jantzen, Ernst Heinkel, Karl Eschenburg, Katharina Kräft, Carl Schurz, Edvard Munch, Theodor Fontane, Albert Einstein, Karl Friedrich Kerner, Joachim Ringelnatz, Gerhard Hauptmann, Ohlerich, called Stoffers, Christine Jungmann ... and many nameless people I am tracing.
I began to research and invent ... and found myself writing again.
How close am I to the real events in these stories?
I don't know!
I have to admit that the actors act as I think they do. Thorough research helps to shed light on the reason for the episode. Did they speak or act as described? - It could be according to the facts ...
