Caspar David Friedrich Hike - In search of the rainbow The hike through the cultural landscape of Putbus leads to three places where Friedrich is known to have sketched. During the hike, explanations are given at several points about the landscape, Friedrich's walks across Rügen and the sketches and paintings he created, as well as historical events.

Duration: approx. 5 hours including lunch break, please bring your own food and drink. Procedure: Short introduction in the village hall, hike from Kasnevitz through the Gremminer Forest to Wreechen - Neuendorfer Kiefern - Neukamp - Glowitz - Krakvitz - Gremminer Forest - Kasnevitz. Finish with coffee/tea/wine in the village community center.
Hiking distance: approx. 14 kilometers
