When the day quietly comes to rest, the Neustrelitz Concert Choir invites you to a special concert in the Wanzka Monastery Church: sounds of love, evening and night span an atmospheric arc through the centuries. From Renaissance to pop - an evening to dream and pause for a moment.

When the day quietly comes to rest and dusk fills the room with soft light, the Wanzka monastery church opens its doors for a special concert evening full of sound and atmosphere.
Under the direction of choirmaster Benjamin Arlt-Bouffee, the Neustrelitz Concert Choir presents a multi-faceted program dedicated entirely to the themes of love, evening and night. Together with pianist Rico Gatzke, the singers bring musical worlds from different centuries to life.

Works by Josef Rheinberger and Thomas Tallis meet the touching sounds of Elton John, Peter Tchaikovsky and Morten Lauridsen - a musical arc from the Renaissance to the modern age.

In different languages and timbres, the works tell of longing and closeness, of the stillness of the evening and the depths of the night.
The program is complemented by selected contributions from the Concert Choir's vocal ensemble, which lend the concert an additional intimate and refined touch.

Look forward to an evening to listen and pause, to dream and reflect - a concert that touches the heart and senses and allows you to experience the magic of music in all its facets.
