On Saturday, September 5, 2026, the Rügen Volunteer Fair will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Marstall Putbus. The event is organized by the DRK-Kreisverband Rügen-Stralsund e. V. and is part of the Ministry of Social Affairs’ series of volunteer fairs throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The goal of the Volunteer Fair is to highlight the diversity of volunteer work on Rügen, to connect clubs and initiatives with one another, and to inspire interested citizens to get involved in volunteer work.
