The worlds of sound into which Volker Luft immerses his audience seem limitless: Guitar arrangements of the works of Bach, Beethoven and Gershwin, fiery Andalusian flamenco, rousing ragtime, electrifying tango, melancholy klezmer, cheerful Celtic sounds and rhythmic African music inspire and enchant the audience. Klangwelten conveys new auditory impressions and reveals impressive connections between the individual musical cultures. An entertaining and amusing presentation, which makes literary, historical and cultural references, rounds off the listening experience perfectly. Depending on the venue and occasion, the program varies and focuses on individual styles.
