The Fritz Reuter Festival 2026
VIRUNUM - that's singer Tsisia Kumsishvilli, guitarist Justus Roeder, pianist Benedikt Ramme and drummer Laurentius Ramme.
Originally founded in Waren (Müritz) in Mecklenburg, the band established itself as one of the most exciting newcomer acts in the region and gained a steadily growing fan base with its profound lyrics, palpable authenticity and infectious optimism.
Inspired by the forests, lakes and the seemingly endless summer in their home country, they won the "Your Song for MV" competition in 2021 with the song "Stille". This was followed by professional studio recording and a music video shoot for the single "Leere Seiten", which was released in 2022.
After a new start in Dresden, they consolidated their unmistakable indie pop sound with acoustic roots, polyphonic vocals and instrumentation that gives their songs depth of character.
