Exhibition with previously unpublished photographs, documents and historical objects on the history of Ludwigslust.
Exhibition with previously unpublished photographs, documents and historical objects on the history of Ludwigslust.
For the first time, interested parties can view photographs from the town's 50th anniversary in the corridors of the town hall. There are also photos of the Schützenhaus (which no longer exists today) and of the inauguration of the municipal swimming pool on Wasserturmweg. These photos were taken by court photographer Ferdinand Esch. You can also discover a historical camera made of wood.
There are also town maps from the past and a historical town clock. The market master's cash bag from the last century is also on display. The patron satchel from the Dragoon Monument can also be viewed. Historical savings bank books and checkbooks complete the exhibition.
All the pictures and exhibits come from the town archive and were put together by student intern Charline, archive employee Manuela Ulrich and library manager Anke Ballhorn as part of "150 years of town history".
The exhibition can be viewed until July 17 during the opening hours of the town hall (Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri 9.00 to 12.00 and Tue 14.00 to 17.45 and Thu 14.00 to 15.45).
