The Fritz Reuter Festival 2026
The Fritz Reuter Festival 2026
Open-air play freely adapted from the novel of the same name by Fritz Reuter in a performance by the "Theaterkollektiv Reuter 2.0″ under the direction and dramaturgical direction of Lutz Trautmann.
In 1813, Napoleon's scattered troops pass through Reuter's home town of Stavenhagen on their retreat from Russia. The inhabitants are thrown into turmoil. Fearing that they might lose their remaining possessions to the starving, ragged soldiers, they try to master the situation with cunning and trickery.
After the great success of the play "Kein Hüsung" in 2024, the first part of the play "Ut de Franzosentid", freely adapted from the novel by Fritz Reuter, took center stage last year.
From June 26 to June 28, 2026, the story will now be continued as part of the Fritz Reuter Festival.
