Lie down, let yourself go, tune out your surroundings, and surrender completely to the music: The success of this still-new concert format was so great last year that we’re once again inviting you to a “lying-down concert.”
Swedish composer and musician Annasara Lundgren creates her own music of a deeply dreamlike character. Together with cellist Gerda Holmquist, she weaves delicate sonic textures from lyrical melodies and a rich interplay of voice, piano, and cello. Her music transports listeners to worlds beyond everyday life—an intimate journey through landscapes of memory, imagination, and quiet contemplation.
In this way, the two provide a sense of musical comfort—for an audience that wants to dream while reclining in armchairs, on sleeping mats, or simply while sitting.
