When Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad came together to form a new pop group in 1972, they launched Sweden’s greatest success story in music: ABBA. For over ten years, the quartet churned out one global hit after another—songs that still get every generation on the dance floor to this day.
In this concert, they come to life again in a very special constellation: The soloists of the Baltic Sea Philharmonic—active members of that cross-border ensemble representing the ten countries bordering the Baltic Sea, which was awarded the European Culture Prize as the artistic centerpiece of the 2015 Usedom Music Festival—join forces with Lemon Squeezy — the Swedish vocal quartet, the newly crowned 2025 Barbershop World Champions, who cultivate the vocal tradition of their homeland with the utmost finesse.
The Baltic Sea Philharmonic’s signature sound meets four-part vocal arrangements from the land of ABBA’s creators: an evening that doubles as a celebration—marking the 80th birthday of musical genius Benny Andersson.
