Would you like to learn how to draw outdoors or work with watercolors? In workshops, I'll show you how to easily capture scenes in your sketchbook using watercolors.
Urban Sketching is dedicated to painting outside on location, plein air. On 09.05. we will focus on the topic of water and textures. For example, we will paint reflections in the water or textures on buoys and jetties.
We will start with an introduction to the basics of watercolor. I will also give a painting demonstration, which you are welcome to film for practice purposes. You will then paint your own motifs with my support. You will receive individual tips for your painting, learn how to mix colors and get to know different watercolor techniques.
We will be inspired by the surroundings.
Important: Please bring your own watercolor materials, a stool or a seat and suitable clothing. We paint outside. If it rains, the course will be postponed. Please register in good time to receive all the information.
What you need:
- Watercolor block or sketchbook with watercolor paper
- Watercolor paints of your choice
- Watercolor brush, pencil, eraser
- Dabbing cloth, 2 water containers incl. water, stool, mixing palette
