Christian Skobowsky plays the Wegscheider organ in the Pinnow village church as part of the 14th Pinnower Ohrenschmaus concert series
Ratzeburg Cathedral organist Christian Skobowsky will be playing in the Pinnow village church to celebrate the 4th birthday of the Wegscheider organ. He has selected a program that reflects the versatility of the new instrument in all its breadth. A sequence of works in ascending keys can be heard: each composition begins a semitone or whole tone higher than the previous one. The program includes Baroque music by Johann Jakob Froberger, Alessandro Marcello, Johann Sebastian Bach and others, the Andante for a flute clock by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as well as contrasting sounds by Paul Hindemith and Olivier Messiaen.
The Förderverein Pinnower Orgel e.V. and the Pinnow parish invite you to round off the evening with wine and water and stimulating conversation after the concert.
Admission is free, donations are requested.
