UDO JÜRGENS - The Concert with Alex Parker & a Special Guest
Udo Jürgens was far more than just a star—his concerts were experiences full of intimacy, personality, and musical depth. With 61 albums and over 400 singles charting, around 1,000 songs composed, 25 concert tours between 1967 and 2014, and more than 6.5 million people in the audience, he ranks among the world’s most successful solo artists.
Starting in January 2027, the extraordinary tribute show “UDO JÜRGENS – The Concert” will embark on a major tour. Alex Parker, one of the most renowned, most in-demand, and—according to many critics and fans—best interpreters of Udo Jürgens’ songs, brings the “Udo Jürgens vibe” back to the stage—authentically, passionately, and with an unparalleled feel for the original.
Indulge in evergreens like “Merci Cherie,” “Ein ehrenwertes Haus,” “Aber bitte mit Sahne,” “Mit 66 Jahren,” “Griechischer Wein,” “Ich war noch niemals in New York,” as well as many other hits and lesser-known tracks, such as “Die Schwalben fliegen hoch” or “Glut und Eis.”
What makes this special: Alex Parker is accompanied by a longtime musical collaborator of Udo Jürgens, who not only enriches the concert musically but also shares personal memories and moving stories firsthand. Between songs, Alex Parker takes his audience on a journey through the world of an exceptional artist: with humorous, touching, and often surprising anecdotes, the evening becomes an experience that goes far beyond the artist’s music.
Accompanying the shows, there will be a small exhibition of photographs of the entertainer in the lobbies of each venue. The photographs were taken by Dominik Beckmann, who has likely photographed Udo Jürgens more often than anyone else and who manages one of the world’s largest Udo Jürgens archives.
Experience a tribute full of heart, respect, and great music—a vivid tribute to one of the most significant entertainers of our time.
