Music for 2 trumpets and organ Guillaume Couloumy, trumpet - NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra Hamburg Felix Wilde, trumpet - Staatskapelle Berlin Jakob Schmidt, organ - Klein Machnow
What sounds more glamorous than music for trumpet and organ? - An evening with TWO trumpets and organ!
You can experience this at a concert in the Mechow church, which crowns this year's series of summer concerts.
Three top-class musicians come together for a multifaceted program: Guillaume Couloumy - solo trumpeter of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, Felix Wilde - member of the Staatskapelle Berlin and Jakob Schmidt - cantor and organist in Berlin/Klein Machnow.
They will perform works from various eras from the Baroque to the 20th century, including works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Henry Purcell and Charles-Marie Widor, and will showcase both the festive trumpet sound and the stop colors of the Grüneberg organ.
Welcome to this extraordinary evening!
Admission is free - donations for the realization of the concert are requested.
