After the end of the GDR, many things changed and the previously unthinkable became possible. The wife now worked as a barmaid in Munich, while her jealous husband languished unemployed in Leipzig. This is where the drama took its course. The real estate shark from the West bought a beautiful old house in Connewitz. He wanted to renovate it, but one family refused to move out. Ex-police officers from the East knew what to do. One prisoner didn't return from prison leave in 1990 and traveled through the reunified country with a corpse in the trunk. Criminal gangs sprang up like poisonous mushrooms. Gangsters had easy access to weapons and were not short of murders. One particularly spectacular case could only be solved with the help of the FBI.
