Paul and Janine dream of reimagining agriculture. With passion and hundreds of thousands of trees planted, they aim to create Europe’s largest agroforestry operation on the site of an abandoned farmstead in the Palatinate. But water shortages, a lack of infrastructure, family pressure, and financial difficulties repeatedly challenge their vision.
