During Treckeltied, the historic Semlow Castle Park invites visitors to take leisurely walks among old trees, ponds, bridges, and expansive meadows.
On September 12 and 13, 2026, special gardens and parks invite visitors to explore, relax, and connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts. An overview of all participating locations is available on the North Pomerania Garden Trail website: https://www.leader-nordvorpommern.de/seite/430916/gartenpfad.html
As part of the Treckeltied festival, the Semlow Castle Park is also open for visitors on Saturday and Sunday.
The approximately 21-hectare landscape park was designed in the English style in 1852 by the Royal Prussian court gardener Gustav Meyer. Vast meadows, sightlines to the castle, an extensive network of paths, as well as ditches, ponds, and seven bridges characterize the grounds. In addition to majestic oaks, chestnut trees, copper beeches, linden trees, and plane trees, visitors can also discover unique trees such as the swamp cypresses by the large pond.
Guided tours are available on both days starting at 10:00 a.m., by appointment only.
The park is open year-round.
