Our next training course for SilverSurfers begins on September 14, 2026—this time in Stralsund. We look forward to welcoming new, dedicated volunteers who want to help older adults use smartphones, tablets, and laptops safely.
Being a SilverSurfer means sharing knowledge, building self-confidence, and making a real difference in the daily lives of older adults. Our volunteers provide step-by-step guidance, explain things patiently, and ensure that digital inclusion isn’t limited by where you live. Those who join become part of a vibrant network that supports one another and grows together.
The course is conducted by Bürgerhafen Greifswald and covers everything you need to know to provide guidance—in a practical, easy-to-understand way, with plenty of opportunity for discussion. At the end of the course, participants can look forward to an inspiring symposium featuring current topics related to digital education and societal developments.
