IIt's blues time: musicians from the international blues scene will be visiting Binz this year from 11 to 14 June for the multi-award-winning Blue Wave Festival Binz. Plucking, drumming and singing in many places will make New Orleans pale with envy.
A special highlight are the "Pink Piano" concerts on the Kurplatz, with musicians as soloists or in bands - an experience not only for blues connoisseurs.
TOMI LEINO TRIO (FIN)
The Tomi Leino Trio is one of the best-known roots and blues bands from Scandinavia. Since their formation in 2011, they have played regularly at festivals and clubs in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Austria and Spain.
The Tomi Leino Trio is known for its hypnotic grooves that get the audience going, whether on festival stages or in an intimate blues club. The trio creates its own sound from elements of swamp blues and rock'n'roll.
