18th Pottery Market on the Old Market in Stralsund
The Hanseatic City of Stralsund will once again be hosting its traditional pottery market. From August 7 to 9, it's "clear the stage" for the 18th Stralsund pottery market. The range of potteries and ceramics studios will not be lacking in content and scope. From traditional utility or garden ceramics, to imaginative porcelain jewelry, to sophisticated cups, bowls, vases... Not only connoisseurs and enthusiasts will experience a real "feast for the eyes". The organizers are particularly pleased about the participation of "Töpferei -Tunsch", a 7th generation pottery. Provided the weather is good, they will be demonstrating the old craft of turning clay into form on a foot-operated wheel. Anyone who feels up to it is welcome to join in.
The 18th pottery market is open on Friday, August 7th and Saturday from 10.00 am - 6.00 pm, as well as on Sunday from 11.30 am - 5.00 pm, with free admission.
