Paintings, Sculptures, Installations
Time passes, and space emerges from this movement. Certain spaces are linked to specific moments in time. Spaces remain in our memory. Time leaves its mark on spaces.
The exhibition “Time / Spaces” presents artistic works by Marcus Schramm that explore space as a form of our existence and examine it as a place of experiences and memories.
Through installations, sculptures, objects, drawings, paintings, and photographs, spatial structures and temporal processes of change become visible as exemplary pictorial spaces linked to both individual and collective narratives. Created over a period of 25 years in various exhibition contexts and projects, these works are now being presented together for the first time in Greifswald.
Marcus Schramm is a freelance artist and art educator, the gallery director of STUDIO GALERIE GREIFSWALD, and, as chairman of the board of the art association art-cube e.V., a co-organizer of exhibitions and art projects centered around the CUBIC art cube.
The exhibition is on view at the St. Spiritus Gallery, Mon–Fri 12–5 p.m., free admission. Entrance on Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße
