Induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and over 130 million records sold make the Oscar winner and 20-time Grammy Award winner one of the most successful musicians in the world. His marathon concerts with the E Street Band are legendary.
In his program “Thunder Road,” songwriter Daniel Schmidgunst explores the stories behind Springsteen’s songs and his journey from working-class kid to rock icon, proving time and again why he is one of the most authentic Springsteen interpreters.
Stripped down to the essentials—microphone, acoustic guitar, piano, and saxophone—and together with Marie Birkholz (sax) and Chris Lewis (key), a quiet yet powerful rock experience unfolds: intense, honest, and far more than just a concert for fans.
