A concert evening that pushes boundaries
A concert evening that breaks boundaries: Thomas Putensen and the Vorpommern Philharmonic Orchestra perform an extraordinary concert: the first part of the evening features Thomas Putensen's Piano Concerto in G minor - a passionate homage to classical music by the Greifswald native. The solo part will be performed by Polish pianist Paweł Motyczyński - it is the first performance at Theater Vorpommern. The second part of the concert offers a challenge that is as exciting as it is unusual: the songs by Georgie Gogow and Thomas Putensen are performed in new orchestral arrangements - including, for the first time, an orchestral and organ version of the cult song "Am Fenster" by the rock band "City", in which solo violin and strings open up new worlds of sound.
