DasStudioZwei - Studio concert with Dear Robin
Dear Robin is a five-piece vintage rock band from northern Germany that brings the unmistakable sound of the 60s and 70s back to the stage. Their music combines energetic grooves with virtuoso riffs and powerful vocals.
Dear Robin have already released two albums and have long since made a name for themselves in the German rock scene. The band has wowed audiences at renowned festivals such as "Jamel rockt den Förster" and "Wasted in Jarmen" and has played as a support act for artists such as Robert Jon & The Wreck, Morganway and LEAP.
Their current album "Timebound" was created in the studio of the East German rock band Silly - produced by Leonard Vaessen, who has already worked with numerous well-known acts. A particular highlight of their band history to date has been their collaboration with Fender, including a jam session with Darryl Jones (bassist for the Rolling Stones, among others).
Dear Robin stand for handmade rock music, passionate live shows and an honest, powerful retro sound.
"A trademark and impressive feature are the polyphonic background vocals, which spread a lot of 60s flair, then a fat riff and Hammond organ rock boldly to the front."
