Harro Lucht, who served as pastor of the Evangelical Student Congregation in Greifswald from 1981 to 1987, reads from his book *Das Nadelöhr der Freiheit* (The Eye of the Needle of Freedom). In it, he recounts the challenges of life in the GDR and the struggles of young people as they tried to navigate a life between fear and courage, between despondency and resilience, in search of the right life within the wrong one.
