The 2026 Perseids: A Shooting Star Cruise on the Water
The Perseid meteor shower will peak on the night of August 12–13, 2026. Conditions on Usedom are phenomenal this year: August 12 is a new moon, so no distracting moonlight will obscure the view of up to 100 shooting stars per hour. In addition, a partial solar eclipse will be visible in the early evening of August 12, during which approximately 85 percent of the sun will be obscured over northern Germany. We’ll meet at the harbor around 11 p.m.; after that, we’ll board an electric boat and glide silently across the water to observe the shooting stars in the sky in peace and darkness.
Max 6 spots per night
