Jason, from the town of Glewitz near Grimmen, began playing the piano at age 4 and has been playing the organ—a fascinating instrument with a vast range of sounds—with great joy since he was 10. He taught himself all the pieces by ear, without sheet music, thanks to his perfect pitch.
Jason also enjoys performing at birthday parties and weddings, drawing from his repertoire across all musical genres on the grand piano, upright piano, or keyboards.
The venue is the Protestant church in Grimmen.
St. Marien is an early Gothic brick building dating from the 13th century.
The Buchholz organ dates from 1830 and was completely restored in 1992 by Orgelbau Voigt (Bad Liebenwerda).
