The Collector Oppenheim & the Oppenheim Villa in Heringsdorf

Lecture and Book Presentation: Villa Oppenheim was not only a special attraction for the artist Lyonel Feininger. To this day, it remains the most famous of Heringsdorf’s many historic buildings. But would you have guessed that there was no hot water there until well into the 20th century, forcing Benoit Oppenheim to go to a nearby hotel to take a bath?
