With over 30 performances at some of Germany’s most beautiful concert halls, you have the unique opportunity to experience the five outstanding tenors—Luigi Frattola, Orfeo Zanetti, Vincenzo Sanso, Alejo Ruiz, and Georgi Dinev—live. These artists, who normally perform at renowned opera houses such as La Scala in Milan or the Vienna State Opera, bring the magic of opera to Germany and transport the audience into the enchanting worlds of “Tosca,” “Aida,” “Rigoletto,” “Otello,” “Turandot,” “La Traviata,” “Carmen,” and many other classics.

The tenors are accompanied by the Plovdiv Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the renowned conductor Nayden Todorov and, alternately, by Tsanislav Petkov. With over 1,000 live performances in Europe, the orchestra brings a special richness of sound to the concerts, ensuring unforgettable musical highlights. The 2026/27 tour is themed “Musica sotto le stelle” (Music Under the Starry Sky). This exciting journey through the world of opera will be hosted by the celebrated soprano Andrea Hörkens, who will enrich the evening with her charm and wit.

Under our musical starry sky, one star shines particularly bright: The dazzling soprano and global star Anna Maria Kaufmann, one of Germany’s most renowned voices, will be appearing as a special guest. Born in Canada, Kaufmann received her classical vocal training at the Robert Schumann Institute in Düsseldorf. She made her breakthrough in 1990 with the role of Christine Daaé in the musical “The Phantom of the Opera” in Hamburg, alongside Peter Hofmann. For her performance, she was awarded the Golden Europa and the Golden Lion. The musical’s soundtrack became the best-selling German musical album. Following her success in musicals, she appeared in various opera and operetta roles, including *The Mikado* and *Carmen*, and performed on stage at the world’s most famous opera houses, such as the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Volksoper in Vienna. She also sang the national anthem at major soccer events, including before the 1996 European Championship final at Wembley and at the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Kaufmann also collaborated with the American singer Barry Manilow and went on the “Rock Meets Classic” tour with rock legends such as Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, and REO Speedwagon.

“The Night of the Five Tenors” offers a fascinating blend of famous arias and Italian canzoni that perfectly showcases the magic of the melodies. Whether you’re an opera lover or new to classical music—this brilliant collaboration with Anna Maria Kaufmann will captivate the audience with every performance. Together, they create a sound that deeply moves the audience and makes them dream of the stars.

Guests will once again experience an evening full of wonder and let their hearts be warmed by melodies that almost everyone knows. Who wouldn’t want to be there when, on the “Musica sotto le stelle” tour, thousands of people hum along to “NESSUM DORMA” in a truly spine-tingling moment as the 5 Tenors and Anna Maria Kaufmann perform this global hit live?

These are the moments we live for!
