A DECLARATION OF LOVE TO LOVE
The newlyweds Agnes and Michael live through an entire existence of love in major and minor keys: from the beginnings of their young passion to the conflict over the children to the harmonious peace of old age: crises and reconciliations alternate - just like in life. A two-person musical full of humor and melancholy, a pleasure for the audience - and two dream roles for two great musical comedians!
Tom Jones tells us the story with great wit, and the music by Harvey Schmidt creates the right atmosphere: sometimes smart and fast, sometimes loving and tender - as varied as a whole married life. With violent thunderstorms, cheerful dance numbers and a lot of heart, we experience Michael and Agnes' fifty years of marriage.
Stefanie Adam and Tobias Rechtien sing, dance and play under the musical direction of Annette Wizisla. The three of them form the free group "Musical Amare".
