Women artists in public space follow the herring

Shortly before International Women's Day, we invite you to an exhibition of photographic portraits of female artists who, in the context of the herring motif, tell of freedom and the female perspective in their creative space.

It is a story about women artists who often remain hidden behind their work - behind the painting, the graphic, the poster - and about their creative process that expresses the contemporary idea of freedom. Photographer Andrzej Max Łazowski shows the flexible approach to the proposed theme, interpreted through their own artistic sensibility, together with the protagonists of the exhibition.

One and the same herring motif in its variety of forms of expression becomes the occasion for a German-Polish cultural dialog. Behind every picture is a woman. Behind each form is a voice and a story.
