Almost everyone knows the movie with Heinz Rühmann, and the punch-drunk group of men who decide to finally send one of their own, who has only been taught by a tutor, to school. Johannes Pfeiffer (with three f's), who already has a doctorate, now wants to make up for the fun he missed out on. Prof. Crey's chemistry lessons include home-made blueberry wine, Professor Bömmel gives highly scientific physics lessons ("So, what's a steam engine?") and singing is sometimes a problem ("Someone's singing unclean"). Then there's the problem of love, because Pfeiffer is engaged to Marion and now falls in love with the director's daughter, of all people. Experience the legendary "Feuerzangenbowle" in a turbulent comedy for four players and make sure you stand up when a teacher is talking to you!
