The image of the small town of Pendon is to be polished up and it wants to become attractive to tourists. A town spectacle is decided upon, a festival committee is founded, whose momentum develops a destructive explosive force.
Everyone involved is full of zest for action. The town council, teachers and dog breeders meet for consultations in an old dance hall. Opinions are divided over the question of the highlight of the festival. The committee splits into two camps: supporters and opponents. Just like in real life. The agitated protagonists go at each other. There is no agreement in sight and the big festival and its highlight are in jeopardy.
This year, the Pütter Bretter will once again be collaborating with the Theaterjugendclub. An exchange between the generations over the long rehearsal process is already filling the participants with joy and foreshadows an exciting result.
