Almost unselfishly, the emperor constantly dresses up in new clothes to present his people with something beautiful. But Princess Sophie thinks that the money could be much better invested, for example in education. So, with the help of Jacob, a trainee, she hatches a plan to put her father on the right path and, incidentally, to test the loyalty of his minister.
