"The Achterwasser: interesting facts and significance" - lecture by Ingo Zander
The lecture sheds light on the historical and cultural significance of the Achterwasser as a livelihood and connecting route for the region. The focus is on the Lieper Winkel with its eventful history, early settlement and special location. Find out more about the development of the villages, the work of the Grobe monastery and the cultural influences of this unique landscape that can still be felt today.
Admission to the event is free with your UsedomCard (show it when required). A Registration is requiredlimited number of participants! We reserve the right to cancel the event if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case we will contact you in good time.

The Haus des Gastes/Tourist Information Office is located at Strandstraße 36 in 17449 Trassenheide. A limited number of free parking spaces are available behind the house (with parking disk). The Festwiese and FOSTRA parking lots in front of the Trassenmoor train stop are also available as alternative parking spaces (subject to a charge). The Haus des Gastes is approx. 450 m away.

There are public toilets in the Haus des Gastes, including a disabled toilet.
