A two-day training course in cooperation with the Müritz National Park, the State Office for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Geology M-V and the tourist information offices of the Mecklenburg Lake District.
Our course is particularly aimed at anyone who is enthusiastic about birdlife. In this workshop, you will gain an in-depth overview of the native birds in the Müritz National Park and their behavior.
You will get to know the most important bird groups: Waterfowl, songbirds, birds of prey and owls. Using illustrative examples, you will discover how these groups differ and which characteristics are typical.
You will acquire basic knowledge and familiarize yourself with around 30 species. Practical observations and mini-studies of their behavior will give you a first insight into the exciting social and hunting behavior of birds.
The course offers space for questions, exchange among each other and sufficient time outdoors to directly experience what you have learned.
Whether your motivation is to increase your own knowledge or to pass on bird knowledge to children, friends or groups, this course will enrich you.
No previous knowledge is required, just an interest in nature and enthusiasm for birds.
The training will be certified with a certificate and will take place at the Steinmühle Youth Forest Home.
The course costs €120.00 per participant and is offered over two days.
