Gardens tell stories. Of patience, of seasons, of what grows and what fades. May is perhaps the month in which this can be felt most clearly - when everything is sprouting, blooming and pushing at the same time, as if nature had no time to lose. This afternoon, books will be presented that explore this theme in their own unique way: Stories and poems that understand the garden as a place for living, pausing and remembering.

Sunday coffee and book at the Haus des Gastes
Every last Sunday of the month: coffee, tea, cake - and books. "Sunday coffee and book" is a monthly format in the Haus des Gastes that makes literature accessible without any barriers. No lecture, no business - an afternoon with leisure and a theme.
The program changes every month. Sometimes it's about travel books or poetry, sometimes about crime novels, non-fiction or audio books - and occasionally about the literary history of the town. Anyone who wants to can take part in the literary betting game; the winners are drawn once a year.
