A Romantic Concert Featuring Heavenly Vocal Delights - "Sun, Moon, and Stars..."
Songs, Interludes, Texts, and Anecdotes
It is an entertaining, thoughtful, and melancholic mix of classical music, operetta, film melodies from the 1930s and 1940s, musicals, and compositions by Norbert Fietzke based on poems by Fontane and Kästner.
Well-known and beloved songs and intermezzos that musically touch on themes such as the sun, moon, stars, night, dreams, and wishes are performed.
Among the songs to be heard are classics such as “Mondlicht, schau hinauf in das Mondlicht,” “In der Nacht ist der Mensch nicht gern alleine,” “Leise flehen meine Lieder!” and many others. Let yourself be surprised!
With her bell-like, pure singing voice and her captivating style, Liane Fietzke, together with her husband Norbert Fietzke—the perfect accompanist on the piano—once again enchants concertgoers in an atmosphere of airiness and lightness. A concert that lives up to the duo’s name: “con emozione.”
The duo “con emozione,” Liane Fietzke (born in Lutherstadt Wittenberg) and Norbert Fietzke (born in Döbern), both received their training at the “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” University of Music in Leipzig. They continued their studies in Cologne and Weimar. The duo “con emozione” lives and works in the Havelland region.
