Creative Workshop for Families with Ellen Luckas
Ellen Luckas is a storyteller and accordionist. She breathes new life into old fairy tales, filling them with joy and humor. You’re invited to get involved in a playful way through sounds, facial expressions, and movement. Look forward to the sounds of the accordion, sing along as you fly on the magic carpet, and chase away storm clouds.
The artist writes: “How do we overcome obstacles? What can help us have the courage to be true to ourselves?—In fairy tales, anything is possible…” Afterward, anyone who’d like to can paint what they experienced and/or share ideas on the topic.
From August 10–20, 2026, a total of 6 workshops will be offered at the WerkHaus in Waren (Müritz). Experienced artists will lead a creative family workshop over 7 days. Parents, grandparents, godparents, older siblings, or cousins—everyone is welcome to join the children in painting, pottery, printmaking, bookbinding, or making music. You can choose your favorite class or sign up for multiple creative activities.
The participation fee is 10 € per day per person.
Since we also want to make it possible for low-income families to participate in our summer workshop, a fee waiver can be granted upon request.
