Creative Workshop for Families with Tanja Blaufuß
From August 10–20, 2026, the WerkHaus in Waren (Müritz) will be transformed into a creative family workshop. Parents, grandparents, godparents, older siblings, or cousins—everyone is welcome to join the children in painting, pottery, printmaking, bookbinding, or making music.
On August 12, Tanja Blaufuß will lead a linocut printing workshop for families.
A total of six experienced artists will lead the creative workshops using age-appropriate materials and step-by-step instructions. While the children explore the process step by step, the adults will take on their own, slightly more challenging tasks depending on the creative course—creating a genuine sense of togetherness rather than mere childcare.
At the end of each workshop, everyone takes home a piece of art they created together.
Tanja Blaufuß is a trained bookbinder who studied “Visual Communication” at the Berlin University of the Arts; she lives and works as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, bookbinder, typesetter, and book designer in Waren on the beautiful Müritz.

The participation fee is €10 per workshop per person.
Since we also want to make it possible for low-income families to participate in our summer workshop, a fee waiver can be granted upon request.
The Summer Workshop project was made possible by donations from the “99 Funken” crowdfunding campaign organized by Müritz-Sparkasse.
