Guests can look forward to a musical journey through romantic ballads, well-known melodies, and moving choral music.
Under the theme “Summer Night Ballads,” the Frauenchor Freundschaft Neustrelitz e.V. women’s choir, under the musical direction of Dr. Arne Mehl, presents a varied program featuring well-known melodies and new, melodious songs. The singers take their audience on a musical journey through balmy summer evenings, romantic ballads, and moving choral sounds. The concert program ranges from well-known folk songs to classical works by Mozart and Brahms, as well as modern pop songs and film scores. The program includes, among others, “La-Le-Lu,” the “Song of the Birdwoman” from the film Mary Poppins, “Regen im Mai” by Max Werner, and “Über den Wolken” by Reinhard Mey.
