A lively market atmosphere, live music, and guided tours of the castle.
At the summer market on Saturday, August 8, 2026, the Ludwigsburg Palace and Estate grounds will once again come alive with the colorful hustle and bustle of the market from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., under the motto: “From the Region—For the Region.”
A very special musical performance awaits guests in the afternoon: ARTUR will be playing live in the palace courtyard starting at 2:00 p.m. For children, there will be face painting at the clubhouse and, starting at 11:00 a.m., hands-on activities organized by the Pommerscher Künstlerbund e. V. in the old wheelwright’s workshop. All exhibitions are open, and the castle can be toured throughout the market.
Castle tours begin at 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the main entrance of the building. Refreshments will be available.
Admission to the market costs 2.00 euros per person. Children and teenagers under 16 years of age have free admission to the market.
Free parking is available on the festival grounds in front of the complex and in the small parking lot by the castle pond.
Please note that cash payments are generally the only accepted form of payment at the market.
