The summer concerts at the historic St. Mary’s Church in Barth invite you to another special musical highlight. On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the program features an impressive organ concert with concert organist, concert pianist, and composer Ann-Helena Schlüter.
The multi-award-winning musician combines artistic practice, scholarship, and music education in her work. She has been performing worldwide since 2010 as a soloist and with renowned orchestras, and has already appeared on international stages.
Her musical training took her to various conservatories. In 2023, she earned her degree in church music from the University of Greifswald. In addition to her work as an organist and pianist, she is also active as a musicologist, author, and composer.
Ann-Helena Schlüter is dedicated to a diverse repertoire and forges connections between traditional church music and new musical perspectives. Her own compositions include works for organ, piano, and choir, as well as other forms of musical expression.
The concert evening at St. Marien offers the opportunity to experience the unique acoustics of the historic church interior combined with the tonal diversity of the organ. An evening for everyone who wants to not only hear music but also experience it as a space and an atmosphere.
Starting at 7:30 p.m., you can kick off the concert evening in a relaxed atmosphere with a light refreshment service featuring water and sparkling wine.
