Words like music can be heard on Tuesday, 26.08.2025 at 8 pm in the Protestant Church of St. Mary in Barth. Roswitha and Thomas Sauer from Berlin have been presenting musical-lyrical programs since 2008. In Barth they are guests with the program "Thanks to life".
Romantic organ music by Edward Elgar, Robert Jones and Horatio Parker finds a particularly authentic expression in the early romantic sound spectrum of the famous Buchholz organ. Alternating with poems by Hermann Hesse, Mascha Kaleko and Roswitha Sauer, a delightful interplay is achieved. The evening ends with the festive march Pomp and Circumstance by Edward Elgar.
