The pop choir "Stilbruch" is back and serves up the perfect soundtrack for balmy summer evenings.
When Teterow sings, it sings with soul, groove and plenty of grit. The pop choir "Stilbruch" is back and, following its acclaimed Christmas concert in St. Peter and Paul's Church, is now serving up the perfect soundtrack for balmy summer evenings: On July 2, 2026 at 7 p.m., the choir invites you to a summer concert at Formate e.V. on the old OGS grounds. And anyone who thinks a choir evening is just a whisper on a music stand has never experienced "Stilbruch". This is where pop meets goosebumps, nostalgia meets fresh energy and choir sound meets real emotion. The musical journey ranges from the 70s to the present day - sometimes funky, sometimes melancholy, sometimes rousingly loud. The program includes classics to hum along to as well as modern pop anthems. A special highlight of the evening: several soloists from the band's own ranks will take to the musical spotlight themselves. Visitors can look forward to soulful interpretations of Adele and atmospheric tracks by Radiohead, among others. "Stilbruch" shows once again that choral work is no longer something outdated. Instead of stiff concert etiquette, there are honest voices, strong arrangements and a pure love of music. This is precisely what has made this choir, under the direction of Susi Koch, a permanent fixture on the regional cultural scene for years. The Formate e.V. premises provide the perfect backdrop: relaxed, creative and close to the audience. So if you fancy a musical summer evening with feeling, energy and a good dose of pop history, you should mark the date in your diary. Because one thing is certain: this "stilbruch" sounds anything but ordinary.
