The Teterow Chamber Orchestra invites you to listen and sing along.
The chamber orchestra, which consists of dedicated amateurs, plays works from the Baroque and Romantic periods.
As guests we welcome the mezzo-soprano Angela Ziegler, who will perform 3 beautiful arias, as well as the church musician Werner Koch from Rostock as organist, harpsichordist and conductor, who has been associated with our orchestra for many years and actively supports us.
You can look forward, for example, to the summery "Grillensinfonie" by G. Ph. Telemann, which will delight you with its charming solo instruments of piccolo flute, violin, clarinet and 2 violoncellos.
In addition, Telemann's well-known viola concerto will be performed by Roswitha Becker, who also conducts the ensemble.
The touching meditation from "Thais" by J. Massenet is performed by Kathleen Bertow on the violin.
At the end, hard-working young students from Ms. Becker's string orchestra join the orchestra to play "Morgenstimmung" by E. Grieg from the "Peer Gynt" suite together as a large orchestra.
You are cordially invited to sing along to summer songs.
