You will hear songs, melodies, texts and anecdotes about the rose from five centuries - historically well-founded, entertaining and lively!
In texts by Herder, Goethe, Schlegel, Heine, Fontane and others, in compositions by Händel, Konopacki, Mozart, Schubert, Cornelius, von Dalberg, zu Eulenburg, Hiller, Zelter, Fietzke and others.)
A small selection of what will be heard on this afternoon and invites you to hum and sing along: "Sie gleicht wohl ein Rosenstock", "Ros und Lilie", "Letzte Rose...", "Guten Abend, gut Nacht...!" and concert-goers also discover the solution to the riddle: "Why do roses have thorns?".
It is an amusing, thoughtful, melancholy mixture of songs, which are skillfully performed, peppered with entertaining anecdotes about the content or the creators of the respective piece to be heard.
You can hear magnificent melodies for Liane Fietzke's warm, lyrical and natural singing accompanied by the excellent pianist Norbert Fietzke, her husband. Experience with the duo 'con emozione' a concert in which the special, the surprising, the touching can happen, entirely in keeping with the duo's name: 'con emozione'.

The duo 'con emozione', Liane Fietzke (born in Lutherstadt Wittenberg) and Norbert Fietzke (born in Döbern), have been working together professionally for many years. They both received their training at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Academy of Music in Leipzig. Further studies followed in Cologne and Weimar.
The duo 'con emozione' lives and works in Havelland.
