We’ll follow the election projections together and then engage in a conversation as equals. No podium, no pre-packaged answers—instead, space for genuine dialogue and diverse perspectives.
When the fishermen couldn’t go out to sea because of the storm, people would gather at the pub. They’d talk to one another—about the weather, the village, the world. The “Storm Talks” at the Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop build on this tradition. On the evening of the state election, we’ll open the Kunsthaus as a “third place”—a gathering spot for everyone. Together, we’ll follow the first election projections and then engage in conversation: openly, respectfully, and without hierarchies. There will be no podium and no ready-made answers, but rather space for different perspectives, questions, and thoughts. We believe that culture can create places where people listen to one another and talk together—especially when social developments are affecting many. Admission is free.
